Embark on a breathtaking journey from the Bolivian capital to the surreal Uyuni salt flats, then traverse the otherworldly landscapes of Atacama, Chile. Witness the mirror-like reflections in Uyuni, the geysers, and lunar valleys of Atacama, culminating in the vivid sunset hues over the salt plains. This expedition promises an unforgettable odyssey through two of the world’s most mesmerizing deserts
Day 0 – LA PAZ – UYUN
Transfer from the hotel to the bus station to take the sleeper bus to Uyuni. Overnight trip.
Day 1 – UYUNI SALT FLATS
Arrival at the bus station in Uyuni and transfer to a restaurant for breakfast (breakfast is not included). Departure to the salt flat in a 4×4 car. We will visit the Train Cemetery and the town of Colchani, which is located on the edge of the Salar and is the place where salt is processed with traditional techniques. We will continue our adventure until we reach Incahuasi Island, located 80 km away. From its summit, in the middle of giant cactus, we can appreciate the amazing extension of the sea of salt and the Tunupa volcano. We will have time to watch the sunset and take pictures playing with perspective. Finally, we will head to the town of San Juan.
Lodging: Hostel in San Juan.
Meals included: Lunch and dinner.
Day 2 – SUD LÍPEZ
We leave the salt flats to visit the high altitude lagoons: Laguna Honda, Laguna Ramadita and Laguna Hedionda. Each one of them has an incredible beauty. We will also visit a different ecosystem: the Siloli Desert, one of the driest in the world, where the popular Stone Tree is found. Finally, we will arrive at the Laguna Colorada, so called because of its reddish color, where the Andean flamingos live.
It will be a journey where the desert and the lagoons will transmit to us their peace and tranquility, finding ourselves in the middle of nowhere.
Lodging: Lodge in Huayllajara.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 3 – SUD LÍPEZ – SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA.
Early in the morning we will go out to visit the geysers, water wells that boil under the earth, here we will have the feeling of being on another planet. Then we will go to the hot springs, where we will enjoy a relaxing bath surrounded by a beautiful landscape. Then we continue to Laguna Verde, whose waters have a magical aspect. Afterwards, we will make a stop at the emblematic Dali Desert, so called because of the interesting colors of its mountains, reminiscent of the master’s paintings. Finally, we will head to the Hito Cajones border, change vehicles and arrive in San Pedro de Atacama.

Day 4 – SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA CONTINUE YOUR ATACAMA EXPERIENCE WITH ONE OF OUR TOURS.
